Struggling Readers: Reading and Writing Connections
Working alongside an amazing educator is a blessing. I had another opportunity to work with my fellow TWU doctoral student Macie Kerbs. We were able to put our “super powers” together and lead a session for pre-service teachers how to use reading and writing together to strengthen skills for struggling readers. It was also the 50th anniversary of the Rose F. Spicola Forum in Reading (see the coffee mugs) and we had an amazing turnout!
