I was very surprised to find the main library at TCU empty. I did promptly get there when they opened, but didn’t expect to be the only one!
I must say, I was tempted to run around the main room, or do a little dance, but I did remain professional in my studies. I sat quietly while I listened to my music via earphones. I didn’t see another student (who wasn’t working in the library) for over an hour. By then, the fascination of what everyone was doing that morning had worn off, and I barely noticed the other student as he plopped down at the table at the opposite end of the room. After all, I had a literature review to finish!
Oh well, life of a grad student…
